Founded in Singapore in 2010 by former Deutsche Bank employees, Akaraka is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that focuses on ensuring the education and professional development of young adults in the need of financial aid and mentoring to improve the lives of both themselves and their family. Now, as Akaraka comes to Hong Kong, they have asked us to help create a website for their location here.
As a result, RollAngle has created and hosted a fresh professional website design that, while paying tribute to the original Singaporean webpage, features its own unique features and juxtaposition to ensure a user friendly experience. Due to the fact that there is a progression for internet users to search the web via smartphone, RollAngle also recognizes the importance of having a professional mobile webpage. Thus, our website layout includes a mobile version that encompasses the same theme and level of professionalism as out PC website.
Objective: To create website for Hong Kong based location
Challenge: Creating a flexible website that is easy to update and reflects a consistent image with the Singaporean-based website. Moreover, it was important to make the website’s blog more user friendly in order to seamlessly transfer responsibility of event management back to the client
Solution: Due to the fact that Akaraka has already been established in Singapore first, our website design paid homage to the original color schemes and basic organization of the Singapore page. By using a custom WordPress theme template, it is very simple and straightforward to edit and manage once returning website responsibilities to the client.
Result: Professional new website design that pays tribute to the Singaporean webpage
